A poignant and often hilarious look at courage, connection, and maternal bonds. Starring the Phoenix Theatre Christel DeHaan Artistic Director Constance Macy and directed by Zack Neiditch, this world premiere play tells the true story of Jeanne Manford, founder of PFLAG.

Actors Ink Theatre Company, led by Sandra Gay, has been bringing fresh work to Indy stages for over 40 years. Now focused exclusively on senior programming, the October Senior Showcase promises hilarious and heartfelt pieces created and performed by Indy’s own senior community.

Back for its third year in a row, Storytelling Arts of Indiana brings the best local storytellers to share their spookiest tales just in time for Halloween. Make it a unique date night or a family affair, but don’t miss this singular storytelling event!

Seda Negra/Black Silk Dance Company brings their dynamic repertoire, drawing on Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and modern movement to explore powerful social narratives, transformation, and lived experiences. Artistic Director Iris Rosa Santiago leads the ensemble in their one-night only Fall performance at PTCC.

Set in an all-night diner, this world premiere play examines hometown connections. Developed on-site alongside Indianapolis actors and inspired by the actual places that shaped them, this story digs into human nature, personal truth, and the dynamic realities of Indy natives. Written by Obie-winning playwright Lucy Thurber. Directed by ALT Artistic Director Chris Saunders.

Returning for their fourth season at PTCC, Relevations Dance Company brings vibrant, expressive movement to the stage across three dynamic showcases this season. Spanning modern, ballet, and contemporary styles, audiences can expect singular choreography, rich emotional depth, and an inspiring celebration of community through movement.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from three very special Indianapolis visual artists: CW Mundy, Constance Scopellitis, and Fred Deloresco. The discussion will give patrons and fellow artists an opportunity to hear from these three about their varied careers. hosted by local producer, fundraiser, and educator Susanne McAlister. 

Indianapolis’s favorite cheeky holiday tradition returns for its 18th iteration! Featuring all-original material written and directed by Jamaal McCray, this high-energy seasonal staple serves up fresh holiday humor, local flavor, and heartwarming satire.

Another Phoenix Theatre holiday favorite! Written by and starring the beloved multi-hyphenate performer Ben Asaykwee, this hit original production returns to the Phoenix stage to deliver dark comedic relief and alternative holiday hilarity.

Look who’s back for a second season at Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre! Get ready for high camp, hilarious comedy, and heartfelt stories as Indy Drag Theatre brings back its signature Drag Musical Parody to the Phoenix stage! The winter production promises to adapt another musical in ways you’ve never imagined.

American Lives Theatre, known more for brand new plays, presents a sharp, modernized reimagining of Clifford Odets’ pivotal 1930s drama, exploring timeless themes of social struggle, individual rights, and unity. The production promises a classic story told with a contemporary American cast. Directed by Scott Russell.

Making their Phoenix debut, guest company Cryptid Entertainment, known for mounting new and old cult classics, presents the hit musical Cry Baby. Based on the iconic John Waters film, this rockabilly comedy features a book by Thomas Meehan and Mark O’Donnell with music and lyrics by Adam Schlesinger and David Javerbaum. Expect a wild, irreverent night of rebellion from this new delightfully weird Indy favorite.

Following the roaring success of the inaugural event in 2026, the Trashion Show returns! This unique event fuses high fashion, sustainability, and community arts, featuring local designers who transform upcycled materials and discarded items into runway couture to benefit the Phoenix Theatre Cultural Centre and our environmental initiatives.

Set in a 1990s video store, this powerful coming of age story concerns two young film buffs and the fragile boundary between who gets seen and who gets left behind. This production is part of the National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of Minneapolis playwright Andrew Rosendorf. Directed by David Taylor Little.

Our original PTCC resident company, Summit Performance Indianapolis, continues its powerful mission of producing professional theatre that amplifies women's stories. Summit promises another provocative, women-focused production designed to inspire, move, and ignite meaningful conversation.

Developed at Phoenix Theatre, this brand-new original musical by local composer and writer Paige Scott explores the captivating, scandalous, and legendary life of early 20th-century icon Evelyn Nesbit through a contemporary, revealing lens. Directed by Artistic Director Constance Macy with Musical Director Ginger Stoltz.

For its final offering for our 2026/27 season, Indy Drag Theatre brings back its signature Drag Musical Parody to the Phoenix stage! The summer production promises to adapt another musical in ways you’ve never imagined.
